On May 18, Yancheng Jinhui High‑Tech Materials Co., Ltd. held a formal ceremony marking the start of mass production for its 200,000‑ton‑per‑year electrolyte project. Kong Hui, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Binhai Port Economic Zone and Director of the Coastal Industrial Park Management Committee, attended the event. Also in attendance were He Yefeng, Chairman of Yancheng Jinhui Company; Wang Zeshen, Secretary-General of the China Chemical and Physical Power Sources Industry Association; Wang Junkun, General Manager of Shandong Wenfeng New Materials Co., Ltd., representing suppliers; Wang Shoujun, Chairman of Jiangsu Liangneng Power Co., Ltd., representing customers; as well as representatives from the Binhai Branches of the Bank of China and Huaxia Bank.

On behalf of the Party Working Committee and the Management Committee of the Coastal Industrial Park, Kong Hui extended warm congratulations on the project’s official mass production and conveyed heartfelt appreciation to all those who have worked tirelessly over the past year to advance the Yancheng Jinhui project. He stated that the Yancheng Jinhui battery electrolyte project is a key industrial-chain initiative introduced by the park in alignment with Yancheng City’s strategic positioning in the new‑energy vehicle industry. Today’s formal commencement of mass production marks the company’s entry into a new phase of development and will play a vital role in accelerating the park’s industrial transformation, invigorating Binhai’s industrial vitality, and strengthening our city’s power‑battery supply chain. He urged the park to continue providing Jinhui with high‑quality, efficient, and convenient services, sparing no effort to foster a favorable environment for production and operations. He also expressed his hope that Jinhui will take firm root in Binhai, ramp up production, expand its market reach, deliver early results, and steadily grow stronger, thereby achieving the shared goal of win‑win outcomes for both the park and the enterprise.

He Yefeng, on behalf of Jinhui Company, expressed his gratitude to all the leaders and guests for attending. He noted that Yancheng’s lithium‑ion and sodium‑ion battery production capacity has exceeded 200 GWh, with downstream customers including SK, Yaoning, Trina Solar, EJATON, Svolt, and other leading battery manufacturers. Market demand for electrolyte has already reached 280,000 tons. By choosing to invest in the Binhai Coastal Industrial Park, the company recognizes the vast potential of Yancheng’s electrolyte sector, while also appreciating the park’s favorable business environment throughout the project’s development. Phase I of the project broke ground in April last year and entered the main equipment commissioning stage in December. Mr. He stated that Jinhui will seize the opportunity of full‑scale mass production to ramp up both manufacturing and sales, swiftly achieving operational efficiency. In addition, the company plans to reinvest RMB 200 million to launch a new 20,000‑ton‑per‑year lithium hexafluorophosphate project, with construction scheduled to begin in May next year, thereby continuously strengthening the company’s long-term growth prospects.
